Good news in November: SSI and SSDI beneficiaries will receive checks of $696 and $1,542!

Disability benefits are very helpful for people who have a qualified disability. The Social Security Administration has announced that there will only be two SSDI checks in November. However, people who get SSI are in for a big surprise. Supplemental Security Income recipients will get another payment on Black Friday, even if they already got one in early November.

This SSI payment on Black Friday should have been delivered on December 1, but the SSA has had to advance the date and send it. Since both SSA and all the banks will be closed because December 1 is a Sunday. November SSI payments will be processed but unlike previous months this is not delayed and checks or direct transfer will be done on November 29, 2024. Yet, it will be faster to access SSDI funds.

Especially the clients who commenced their disability benefits between November 1 and November 13 should be informed that they have to wait for payment until December.

However, if you have not received your SSDI check up to now, then you might be receiving it on either 20 th November 2024 or on 27 th November 2024. See below for eligibility:

• SSDI payment on November 20: if your birth date falls from the 11th to the 20th
• SSDI payment on November 27: if your birth date falls from the 21st to the 31st
• SSDI payment on December 3: on benefits before May 1997 or getting SSI on Dec. 1 2024 too

Who will receive an SSDI check of $3,822 on November 20 or 27?

This big check or direct payment is for workers who were able to work for 35 years and earn the most amount on which the tax was paid. For this reason it most likely will not receive such big payment.

Also, you had to earn in places having SSA and file when SSA wants you to do it. Usually, the amount that SSDI will provide in disability benefits will only be $1,542. If your payment is too low, you may request for SSI instead. They can have either type of disability.
